Abdikerim Nasirdin is a contemporary Uighur artist, he was born in Urumqi in February 1947. 1960 graduated Yingisa County High School. He had a master degree in Arts from Beijing Central National Institute(1981) He worked as an art editor in "Ghulja Daily" from 1970-1972, from 1972-1978 he worked as an artist in Ili city Museum. After 1981 he moved to Urumqi and worked as an artist in Xinjiang Art Institute, later he become the head of that institute. In February 18, 2004, he had his art exhibition in Meridian International Center in D.C.
