Great Travel Literature
This was my first experience with the genre of travel literature. Once I
started, I could not put the book aside. For all the 'arm chair ' travelers out
there, 'From Heaven Lake' is the perfect way to experience this part of China
and Tibet. I thought the book was out of print and then discovered it at this
web site. I read it nearly 10 years ago, and many of the experiences and images
that Seth describes are still fresh and perfect in my memory. I will never
forget the feeding of the eagles at the temple!
