Extended Service to Prospective

Graduate School Applicant



Dear Uighur Community Members,

Uighur Education Fund Managing Committee made the decision to extend application fee payment program as follows:

1. UEF will pay graduate school application fees for up to two US universities on behalf of qualified graduate school applicant
2. UEF will also pay one GRE exam fee on behalf of qualified graduate school applicant.

Requirement For Receiving the Payment (Please read it carefully):
. You can not afford to pay the application fee by yourself.
. You must be a member or a decendent of ethnic group from Uighur region of Central Asia.
.
You have received at least 560 on TOEFL, the score has to be valid for the next 6 months.
. Your GRE score has to be over 1750 if the GRE is required by the university you are applying.
. You can receive payments for two schools per year if your application is approved.
. You may also qualified to receive payment for one GRE exam.

Background Information about UEF
1. Uighur Education Fund (previously known as TOSSA Education Fund) was founded by Mavlan Yasin, Sokrat Saydahmet and Tughluk Abdurazak in October 16, 1997.
2. The first joint proposal by 7 TEF Committee members (names listed below) was announced on July 16, 1998.
3. TEF was officiallly renamed to Uighur Education Fund effective Novebmer 2004.
