On August 09, 2005 I paid special visit to Sadir Palwan's Memorial and Burial Site which was built by Tursun Yasin. Tursun Yasin, was born on October 1942, spent most of his time doing research on Sadir, he wrote 4 books ("The Road of Sadir" and others), about Sadir Palwan, he used all his fotune to build this memorial.
Sadir Palwan (1798 - 1871) is a legendary hero that is famous in Uighur history for his bravery. He was born in 1798 in Ghulja. Palwan, which means "Giant", was given him by the people for his strength.
